Found this cute little video in my Facebook feed today and had to share!

Enemas aside, I think this video is a great resource to pro-coffee drinkers fighting the naysayers. Of course I can function without it – I’ve done it many times before – but why would I want to? I can also function properly without leaving my house, but why would I want to live that?

Besides being addicted to Starbucks, one of my favorite things to do when exploring a new neighborhood, or a new city altogether, is to make a Coffee Bucket List. It’s not only a great way to see the nooks and crannies of any metropolis, but it also gives you a chance to taste the different varieties and methods of brewing and crafting this global beverage.

After seven years in Chicago, there’s still more than a handful of places I have yet to visit and more keep opening up! There’s always tomorrow, right?

  1. We Finns drink coffee a lot of. We love to make our own coffee at home. Why? The reason is simple. Man can make from empty coffee bags nice bags! These bags are individuals and unique in the whole world! You cannot buy them for example from Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Rome, Nice, Paris and London.

  2. Julius Meinl, right on the corner of Southport and Addison, is a great little coffee spot if you’ve never been! They have a cute little outdoor seating area and little desserts and croissants to complement your coffee.

    This is a great post! I have been weening off coffee, because I don’t want my body to get addicted, healthier, blah, but maybe I’ve got the wrong idea.

    1. Thanks, Meghan! I’ve never been to that one! And yea, you’ve definitely caught the unfounded fear spreading like Ebola these days! I’ve been drinking coffee almost every day since 6th grade and I can still go a few days without it and be fine. I read another study last year that a cup a day decreases your risk of heart disease. And it’s practically impossible to overdose on caffeine unless you ingest a concetrated pill of it! Come back to the dark side 🙂
