#Vaccinated and back to work! During my first week in Dushanbe, I already feel like I've done a lot and it feels great to be back out in the world 🌏

Pulling a Ted Cruz and getting the hell out of town! 😂 But seriously, it is ridiculous how excited I was to pack this bag...really. The travel bug is real. Headed off to a quick weekend in NYC, then off to Michigan ♥️ Thank God for face masks and hand sanitizer! 😷

Another day where it *almost* felt normal! Walking around Eastern Market and Union Market with @valpolyakov and getting some ☀️ Dreaming of all the trips to come... 🌏🛩🧳

Last nature pit-stop of the trip: Beartown State Park, WV. Made of one large rock formation that splits into sections and clefts large enough for walkways, this park is known for its massive, moss covered boulders, overhanging cliffs and unusual rock formations creating sunken 'streets' in a town of rocks.

Next stop: Somewhere on the Virginia border...Greetings from the top of Big Walker Lookout! This small, relatively unknown stop off State Highway 52 includes a shaky, 100 foot observation tower, even shakier swinging bridge, and family-run country store complete with all vital libations. It's an excellent respite from the road and the view is definitely worth the $8 🤳
